Many of the problems we are dealing with today stem from poor nutrition and lifestyle choices. “Dis-Ease” like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, Mood Disorders, AutoImmune Issues, Excessive Pain, Fatigue, and most other concerns can be connected to what we eat.

Think about what our ancestors ate: Predominantly local, un-processed foods like meat, vegetables, grains, fruits, and some bread and cured meats. When our grandparents were growing up, there was no such thing as cookies for lunch, chips before dinner, and ice cream after dinner. There weren’t sugary-cereals every day for breakfast or lunch boxes full of refined carbs. There was no drive-thru for dinner. Our ancestors ate with the seasons and ate the whole-foods that were available. Look at how far we’ve come… and how detrimental to our health!

Now, Americans are eating over 170 lbs of sugar a year along with other poor food options like factory farmed meat and dairy and chemically processed foods with preservatives, dyes, pesticides, and colorings. No wonder we are sick! 

We need to get back to nature and eat for our bodies – not for our cravings or conveniences.
